Reason #2,797.2 why iTunes is a complete load of balls:

We have a shiney new LG external DVD-RAM drive, which EVERY OTHER PROGRAMME ON THE COMPUTER recognises and plays nicely with. iTunes, however, seems to have decided that it's only a CD reader drive with no burn capabilities whatsoever. And, since we got it to replace the now-broken, shite internal DVD drive that Dell included on the computer, it's a kinda rubbish situation. Especially when .m4p files ONLY play in iTunes and REFUSE to be converted into .mp3 or even .wav by any practical means. And neither myself nor Punky use iPods. So this essentially means that we're forbidden from doing anything but playing these files we have on the computer, using the biggest resource-hogging programme ever ported into Windows.

In conclusion, iTunes appears to be a virus as it does nothing but use up processor time and disable computer functions.

apple - what a joke
