*ponders*

As I read this, I hit this line: “It’s alright my love, it was just another nightmare. I will give you the potion again tomorrow night” and my mind refuses to let go...Did Moldiebutt really win? Is Severus giving her a potion to try to help her, but he was 'shackled' with her to save her from what's-his-face?

Are you sure this is for the Order?

Sorry, just re-read through and made an alteration. What I actually meant to put the first time round was Dreamless sleep. D'oh told you it was written by a dunderhead.

Not a dunderhead...just limited by words...

and I still think my interpretation could be correct. I assumed it was dreamless sleep when I read it. I just thought that he used it to get her trust by allowing her to forget the tortures of the day, so to speak...

I suppose it is still quiet ambiguous and could be taken as a DE drabble.

It's the first time for me to write something this dark, I'm usually all fluffy and warm.

I've done a bit of both. My first dark had Hermione killing every male she slept with--black widow type thing. I usually prefer the fluff, though. It's easier to write, unless I've had a really bad day/week/month/year at work. Come summer, I'll probably be writing very dark stuff. *snerk*
