A/N I'm not entirely happy with this but I'm posting before I tweak it too much!
Severus had spent ages perusing all the jeweller shops in magically and non-magical London, even though Hermione said she didn’t care about such trivial matters as size there was no way he would get this wrong.
If it was too small he’d be perceived as being thrifty with his money where as too large would be... well a little bit too much like Malfoy.
“Hermione... ” Severus dropped onto one knee “would you do me the honour of becoming my wife”
Hermione took one look at the ring. Beaming she replied. “Yes, Severus, the ring is perfect.”
