Damn, I give up. :-D I'm completely hopeless in figuring out the clues!

It's probably staring me right in the face. Oh well.

Very, very intriguing though!

I'm glad you're still finding it interesting, darl. :D

Don't give up. You never know, you could take a wild guess and be right.

*hugs*

Wild guess? Luna did it. Because she was jealous. *grins*

I was also thinking the secretary, because one of Hermione's casual affairs had been her boyfriend/hubby. But organising a murder like that would take more ingenuity than that.

Oooooo, getting quite warm there, darl. :D

See, wild guessing can be fun. And it does have it's rewards.

*jumps with excitement* I'm terrible at mysteries... I feel like the dunce, hand-fed clues with tender-loving care and still not getting it. Something's on the tip of my tongue though, which is very exciting.

Healing spells, a string of boyfriends, a new wand, a malpractice suit, dirt, Hermione's skin under nails with no marks on her skin, polish remover that could not have belonged to her...

Okay, it's coming together: It was Rebecca Dawes, who was really Tonks From The Future, come back in time to take revenge on Hermione because Hermione had dated and then dumped a virile Colin Creevy, on whom Tonks had had a secret crush. The hair was pink under the microscope, something Snape should have seen without a microscope, honestly. And he calls himself a detective.

And that's all my cards laid down. Looks a full house. ;)

Oh, wonderful tone in these, by the way, like those old black-and-white private eye movies.

Hello. Long time no speaky, darl.

Awww, darling. It's a nice theory, but I'm afraid not. I'm afraid there's no time turning in this. I love the explanation, but the idea of a virile Colin does make me shiver *and not in a good way* lol.

I'm glad you like it, darl. And thank you for the nice comment. :)

Thank you. I'm really glad you think so. I worry a bit that it's all too obvious.

Thank you for the lovely comment, darling.
