Author's note : first written in Spanish in answer to the 'Nagini' challenge over at cienpalabras. But it's been so long since I last posted here that I couldn't resist. Severus, Hermione, 100 words - it fits!

"You weren't joking, Severus? You're really burning the snake?
"I am, and when no more will remain of it than ashes, I intend to dance on them."
Following the burnt meat smell, Ron, who made a point of dropping by without notice, found the couple in their back-garden.
"Barbecue! My favourite!"
And before Severus or Hermione could say anything, he snatched a piece of meat, cooled it with a spell, and was now biting with the best appetite into what was remaining of the Dark Lord's snake companion.
"Shall I tell him, or will you?" asked Severus.
