the possibility of setting up a Wizarding equivalent of Interpol for tracking and apprehending suspected criminals.

Uh oh. Depending on precisely who he's hiding from, this may not be an idea Severus would welcome at all!

‘It’s not top secret, but it’s quite dull. I doubt you’d be interested.’

*snort* Well, he's just guaranteed she will be!

More please?

I think he'd be safe... I hope anyway! :-D

And I know. Dreadfully silly of him to think that would stop her.

LOL This is Hermione Granger we're talking about. Of course she'll be interested! :D This gets more and more intriguing! Can't wait for more!

Thanks! :-) And I quite agree - either he has memory problems and can't remember there is no such thing as something too dull for Hermione, or he's just trying to get her more interested.

If he thinks he's going to convince her not to be interested like that, he has another thing coming.

“I don’t remember giving you leave to use my name, Professor Granger,”

He knows her. Ergo, he knows this is the one way to guarantee that she will become intensely interested. Conclusion: he's trying to pique her interest. ;D

Unless he's partially lost his memory and just can't remember the constant hand in the air, the questions, the curiosity... hmm, not very likely, is it?

:-D

I like how he's trying to deflect her interest, but really, he shouldn't even bother trying. He should know better.

Thanks for the quick updates on this! It's such a great idea.

I agree, he should know better! He's probably just playing for time, trying to figure out what to tell her.

Thanks! I didn't expect to have any steam left for this yesterday, but I'm glad I did.
