"Yes, thank you Potter," she replied, dabbing at her lips with a napkin.
Crookshanks jumped smoothly into Hermione's welcoming lap.
"Have you made any decisions about Professor Snape's information?"
"Can we trust his information?" Ron asked. "Hermione's cat's a good judge of character, and we've never even seen him in the same room as Snape."
McGonagall's horrified regard turned on the smug-looking animal.
"Come on, Crooks," said Hermione, smiling into his fur. "Time for bed."
