Ooh, intriguing! I love Snape trying to give Hermione those subtle hints that he might just be rather fond of her.

I just couldn't trim the last drabble down enough, nor could I justify adding another hundred-word installment just so I could say this, but the tone of her voice at the end of that drabble was ... encouraging. He's not the only one giving hints here!

Thanks!

Cool! Who will hex Harry first? And who will go in for a kiss first, Severus or Hermione?

BTW, I have no trouble believing in the castle giving Severus a door right from his room to his office. It does, after all, having moving staircases and a Room of Requirement. Why shouldn't there be a Door of Requirement for the Headmaster? Hee hee.

Just a nice, little magic wormhole to help out the headmaster. What could be more convenient?

Hexing may not be necessary. Kisses, however, are guaranteed on the menu ... when they happen is a different thing. This story still has a way to go.

Thank you!

"That blinding, almost-forgotten rage coursed through his body"

New, or rather old obstacles arise...I can't wait for the next episode!

Ooh, yay! Swoonage ... Things are getting just the right side of intriguing here. It's nice to see Severus facing his 'inner demons' just a bit; it makes the certainty of his sentiments for her all the more solid when we see that he opens himself up (minutely though it may be) despite his overwhelming defensiveness.

He's certainly right about what's needed with that research, though. If people are going to discard the old version in favour of a new one, they might actually want to see some proper updates in the mix.

Ooh, I forget whether Hagrid is alive in this 'verse of yours ... Does no one but Harry know that Hagrid went to school with Tom?

More on the how-to part of an update is coming in the next installment. Thanks for reviewing!

Oooh, and Minerva went to school with Tom! If I remember right she was about a year ahead of him or so... I'm sure you already knew that though but since I saw someone mention that he went to school with Hagrid and all... :P

Yes, Minerva did go to school with Tom; she will be mentioned, too. Thanks!
