Thank you very much! I'm glad you like my solution for the events in the Shrieking Shack, because the author's solution is so out of character for both Severus and Hermione...

As to the "scarlet woman", it has stuck in my gullet since GOF and I just waited for the occasion to get back at Molly!

It's a tough choice, but I think I liked the second one best. An alive Severus who is not a sappy arrested adolescent pining for the girl he never had ... solid gold. Minerva's face when she finds out the cherished memento of the dead romantic hero is a fake ... priceless.

Thank you very much! I think the second one is my favourite too, though I have a soft spot for Lavender being used as a guinea pig. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed them!
