To take a dislike to a young man, only because he appeared to be of a different disposition from himself, was unworthy the real liberality of mind which she was always used to acknowledge in him.
And yet, Hermione couldn’t dismiss Severus’ poor opinion of either of her friends, who had been downright rude expressing their own opinions.
The last straw had been overhearing Harry and Ron laughingly call her a Bushy-haired, Know-it-all to Ginny and Lavender.
“You have returned early.” The comment held no query or condemnation, only stated a fact.
Hermione nodded, wiping the tears from her eyes.
