Hermione sat at her desk and started writing out the grocery list. Milk, she thought sensibly. Eggs, bread. Carrots.
Severus leaned over her shoulder, his heavy, herb-scented robes brushing against her.
“Do not forget to write ‘something for dessert’,” he said silkily.
Hermione smiled to herself and then she wrote Apple Pie.
“I would like something richer than that, madam!” he grumbled.
“The last time you ate something richer, like that cheesecake, you needed some Soothing Syrup afterwards,” she said sweetly. “I’ll buy some cream… you can have a little with the pie.”
“The cream can go… elsewhere,” he murmured.
