Challenge: Grocery shopping
A/N: I just can’t resist His Snarkiness in a grocery store!
Snape’s strong fingers palped an eggplant. Hitting a soft spot, he hissed and opened his grasp as if stung, allowing gravity to dispose of the offensive item.
“There’s nothing worth buying here,” he said, theatrically stepping over several discarded eggplants on the tiled floor.
Oblivious to staring Muggles, Snape sniffed, scowling. “Those cantaloupes are decomposing,” he snarled, holding a beet directly to his overlarge nose, “and these are older than a Hogwarts first year.”
“Oi! You planning on marrying that beet?” an angry clerk asked.
“Fish, chips and mushy peas it is!” Hermione said false-brightly, propelling Snape from the store.
