Hermione felt the overwhelming loneliness seep through her soul. She tried to raise her wand and croak Riddikulus. But it came out weak and tears started to roll down her face.
Her greatest fear stood before her. Herself. Alone. Forever.
Then arms suddenly reached around her pulling her into a black wool clad chest. She felt a hand stroking down the back of her head and the fear leave her.
She buried her head further down and heard the spell spoken that dispelled the boggart.
Hermione could hear his heartbeat and promise that she would never be alone.
