He was once the embodiment of hauteur and maliciousness, his hooded, ebony eyes gleaming triumphantly in pure venomous spite. His thin mouth often curled up in a vicious sneer, taunting and acerbic as his words.
And yet, there he was: his body, mangled, as he laid upon the wet earth, the heavy scent of vegetation rich in his nostrils. Soon his thoughts rippled in a dreamlike state; falling, moving, spreading…
No longer was he residing in a black abyss of ambiguity and impiety, a path in which he had traversed in much too long.
At long last, he was Home.
