"Hermione here drink this, it shall settle your stomach." Severus approached the bed with two glasses in his hands each contained orange liquid, upon seeing this Hermione smiles sitting up carefully.
"Thank you. Pumpkin juice I haven't had that in years."
"I remember you said you liked it, for some forsaken reason. Make sure to drink it all I mixed in something for the nausea." She reaches for the glass still in his hand (the other having being sit on the corner table) grateful smile spread on her face to meet only a look of absent emotion from him.

Soon as the first sip of the liquid touched her tongue Hermione's eye turn wide, fear racing inside. Severus reaches over taking a grip of her hand, stopping her from laying the glass down and forces the rest down her throat. All the while still absent of emotion. When the glass was empty he let her and go and fell back onto the pillow, eyes brimming with tears.
"But I'm having your baby. How could you?" She asks in the softest whisper.
"I never wanted children."
"I love you. I thought you loved me."
"I do love you."

She watches as he picks up the other glass, presses it against his lips, downing it in seconds. Moments later he stumbles down, gripping at the covers.
She wanted to run, wanted to seek help. Besides her the sound of crying escaping from a man who learned to hide all feelings since a young boy reached her ears. At that moment it was his life Hermione most wanted to save, she tried for years to teach him life was still good and people cared. With every step forward there was always a step backwards. This time right off a cliff.

Yesterday the body of former Hogwarts Professor Severus Snape; who three years ago was exonerated for the killing of beloved Headmaster Albus Dumbledore; was found dead at his home. Along with muggle born Hermione Granger best known as the girl who helped Harry Potter defeat He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. The two had been rumoured to be having a relationship since December of last year. The cause of death appears to be a murder suicide with the aid of monkshood which is deadly in pure form. More details to come as they develop.
