A/N: I spent way too much time reading today. Can you tell what type of fics I read? ;) Not an original idea, but one I had to get out of my system... only because people like Ferporcel and Pearle9240 have done such an awesome job with this story line. :)

“What are you doing here, Granger?”

“Obviously I need to speak with you.”

“I have no time for your chatter or asinine pestering. Leave.”

“Listen, Snape! I just wanted to tell you to lay off my daughter. I know that you’re harassing her because she’s mine.”

“I treat all students the same, Granger.”

“Yes, that was quite apparent when I was your student. And call me crazy, but giving a student three weeks of detention answering questions during class seems a bit extreme to me.”

“I opted to teach her early not to be an irritating, bossy, know-it-all.”

-----------------------------------------

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“It means that I had to tolerate you through six years of teaching. I have no desire to repeat the process with an entirely new version of you.”

“She isn’t exactly like me, Professor. The girl is annoyingly like her father sometimes.”

“Yes, it’s quite obvious who her father is.”

“Really now? I’m surprised you’ve not said something before now.”

“Why would I acknowledge his spawn? You showed intelligence by keeping him out of her life. At least she’s not carrying the surname of Potter.”

“Sure, Severus, that explains why she was Sorted into Slytherin.”

-----------------------------------------

“And what is that supposed to mean, Miss Granger?”

“Exactly what you’re thinking that it does.”

“You have no idea what I’m thinking! How dare you come in here and imply such things?”

“I dare, only because it’s true.”

“As always, you’re spouting lies. What? Is Potter suddenly deciding not to support you?”

“You are an arrogant, ruddy, git, Snape. I’ll have you know that I support myself and my daughter just fine!”

“Why say something now?”

“It doesn’t matter. Just like when I told you before, you’re refusing to see the truth when it’s staring you in the face.”
