“Go up there, Severus,” she urged.
He glared at his young wife. “I am not going up there to humiliate myself,” he hissed.
“Severus, you do realise that everyone is staring at us right now?” Hermione snipped back.
The older wizard grumbled. Turning on his heel, he strode to the podium where Filius stood.
“Severus,” Flitwick said, attempting to stifle his laughter. “With ninety percent of the vote, I present you with this medal.”
With a flick, the award was around Severus’ neck. Looking at it, Snape scowled. “Best Costume,” it read... and he hadn’t even dressed up this year.
