Snape, consummate spy and people-watcher, surreptitiously observed his colleague over his book as she contemplated something at the window. His lips twitched as the hem of her robes fluttered oddly.
"Granger, have you tried Charming your robes to move like mine? Because there's no magic involved, just natural... talent," he smirked humorously.
She looked back at him with confusion on her face, then comprehension as her hem swirled again. Bending to reach underneath, she revealed a calico kitten that was hiding there.
"No magic, Severus, just my new familiar. And thank you, I think Charming is a most fitting name."
