Authors Notes: Looks like I kinda dropped off the side of the world, but I'm still about. Is anyone else still here?
A dark figure detached itself from the shadows, easing into the corridor. A scuff of footfall indicated his companion was not far behind. He held his wand alertly.
"It's quiet - too damn quiet. Where are they, what are they up to out there?"
She stepped forward and wove her arms around him, his wand arm falling naturally to her shoulders.
"Don't worry, I'm sure they and their inventive little minds are out there somewhere. In the meanwhile, why don't we put our own inventiveness to the test," she said with a smirk, pulling him uncomplaining back into the shadows.
