“What the hell is this?” Severus, reading a scroll of his own, had clearly skipped puzzlement, bypassed irritation, and gone straight to suppressed rage.
“A staff production of 'Gone With The Wind'. For which auditions were not necessary. Another initiative from the Muggle Studies staff. I'm playing Melanie, apparently. Who'd you get?”
He relaxed minutely. “Ashley. At least we're still married.”
“Well, I think you should have got Rhett.”
“Frankly, my dear, since I refuse to take part in this nonsense, I don't give a damn.”
