Hermione stared at the certificate unceremoniously rolled up in Severus’s desk. It was an Order of Merlin, First Class. It was addressed to a certain Severus S. Snape.
She turned back towards Severus, who was napping lightly on the sofa. She curled up around him. She woke him by placing soft kisses along his jawline.
“Sev, What does the S in your name stand for?” she asked.
One eye flicked open lazily as he said, “Santa. Have you been a good little girl? I think I might have a present for you.”
He flipped them over and attacked her neck.
