Quickly, it dawned on Snape what she was doing.
“What have you done you stupid girl!?” he demanded angrily, tearing around the greenhouse inspecting vials.
“We don't have four days to spare for a potion, I was simply looking for a different solution!” she tried to explain calmly through her seething anger.
“You never wake a sleepwalker and you never, EVER influence a dreamer!” he spat, throwing the vials down in disgust.
While they argued, forgotten on the greenhouse floor, Neville slowly opened his eyes. They were completely black. Clumsily, he reached for a discarded garden spade.
