Title: Like a Phoenix from the Flames.

A/N: an idea that came to me whilst watching candles burn as always I own nothing and make nothing from this amateur work, again no beta has been blinded by my errors.
Some say that the world will end with an all-consuming apocalypse.
For nineteen-year-old Hermione Granger her world, as she knows it, ends with a kiss. Her innocence wilts from the heat of it. Every cell of her body is on fire. She is aware that nothing has felt as right, or more real, than standing here kissing this man.
Man, not boy: a man who is almost twice her age.
She dies and is reborn; like a phoenix rising skywards.
She welcomes the flames; embraces them and him.
Everything before now is forgotten.
Severus is all she needs and desire.
