Authors Notes: My first drabbling in ages. I think I’m rusty. Just poking a bit of fun at the fanon cliché of Hermione correcting people that “It’s Professor Snape!” and not just Snape.
“Oh, Professor!”
“Hermione,” he breathed. “Call me Severus.”
She jerked away from him as if stung, falling out of bed. “Ow!”
He helped her back up, settling her back on top of the covers, soothing her with ardent kisses until she was moaning beneath him again.
“Ah, Professor!”
“Severus,” he purred.
Again, she pulled back. This time, he saw the appalled look on her face.
“Hermione?”
“But I can’t!”
“Why ever not?”
“It’s Professor Snape!”
“We’re about to make love.”
“You still deserve my respect even now.”
“A little less respect, a little more action,” Severus muttered, and pounced.
“Professor!”

“Oh, Professor, that was… you were… I love you.”
Severus was all too glad that she was too busy nuzzling his shoulder to see his face. “You were lovely.” And she had been. Everything he’d fantasised and dreamed about. Except…
“Professor? This, it’s not… not just a fling to you?” Her voice broke.
“No. I may not say it or show it often, but I do care for…” No, she needed something more. “I do love you.”
“Professor!” She kissed him passionately.
‘Except lessons are going to be impossible if every time I see her there I think of this.’
