It wasn’t difficult to encourage his affections by constant presents of chocolate boxes and her homemade hot cocoa in the winter. Pretty soon, the two professors were an unlikely but very much attached couple.
During one meeting, Albus asked the staff if anyone had seen his jar of chocolate chip cookies a student had given him as a present.
Only Severus looked so innocent he seemed guilty.
“Severus, did you steal the cookies from the cookie jar?”
