Next, to accrue some capital so they could start their own lab together, he stayed. His patience ran thin. He stopped assigning impossible amounts homework. She said he'd gone soft. He was leaving soon, anyways.
Then, their daughter, to make sure that she would always wont for naught. He was an old man, after all.
It was the day after her 10th Birthday, he finally relented. He really didn't want to be both doting father and unfeeling Potions Professor, now did he?
