Challenge: First Words (I had planned to work in Slave for a Week, but alas this is all the muse would yield.)

Authors Notes: Set in my Emily subverse of JKR’s Potterverse. Not mine, no beta, I makes my money as a Muggle Chemist.
Hermione had missed many of Emily’s firsts. Her first tooth breaking through, the first time she spooked herself by rolling over onto her front, the first time she Summoned her favourite cuddly toy from the opposite side of the room, the first tentative step: Severus had been there for all of them whilst she was away thanks to work commitments.
The one first she didn’t miss, was the one she really could have done with missing.
Emily was sat on the floor, playing with her doll.
“Dunder’ed” she muttered.
Hermione struggled to control her laughter: Severus glared at his wife.
