Snape's Special Eggnog Brew
Hermione Snape rushed to Slughorn’s Christmas party terribly late. The witch put the children to bed, but her oldest Rose would not go to sleep. She was full of questions about Christmas and Winter Solstice. Was Santa Claus who gave the best toys or where they the gift of the Magi? Did Santa Claus create mistletoe or was it Merlin? Was Dickens a wizard? Finally Hermione said that they were both equal in the idea that children who don’t behave for their parents would receive coal in their stocking. Rose was bright enough to understand her and said “goodnight mummy”
When she arrived there was no one there except for her husband sipping eggnog calmly
“Severus where is everyone?” she asked a note of nervousness in her voice
Her husband looked at her expression neutral “What do you mean?”
“You know perfectly well what I mean Severus Tobias Snape. This room is usually pact by this time “answered his wife nervousness replaced by irritation.
“It’s not my fault they couldn’t handle the eggnog” he countered calmly.
Then it occurred to her, the wizard offered to make “Snape’s Special Eggnog Brew”
She sat down next to him realization dawning on her.
“Don’t act innocent with me Severus. You did it on purpose so you would not have to attend”
Severus’s expression turned lustful and pointed to the mistletoe above them in an effort for forgiveness. Her irritation melted as soon as it came, possibly the product of her hormones raging. Hermione kissed him she never could stay mad at Severus for long. Snape lifted her green robes up to her waist exposing her green garter and white stockings and her bump. “The evening is not completely lost. We could always play what is in the stocking” he said dark eyes twinkling
