Authors Notes: After last night’s fluff, and a rough day at work, dark!Sav comes out to play. I do love possessive!Snape but, be warned, he’s really channeling his darker, self loathing side here.

He knows a better man would send her away to find someone her own age.
He knows he is too old, too broken for her.
Yet, he can’t resist her when she comes to kneel before him.
He should be stronger, braver, he should be able to send her away, but he can’t.
She is pure like freshly fallen snow; she shines like dew on a freshly spun spider’s web.
He is like a putrid carcass, foul and disgusting, attracting the unwanted and the unloved.
As he slides inside, her name spills from his lips.
“Hermione.”
“I’m yours, Severus, always.”
