“I can’t help but notice that Severus and Hermione have an awful lot of those quarrels.” The newest addition to the Hogwarts staff had again witnessed another infamous fight between the Potions and Defense professors.
“No,” Minerva agreed, “they don’t agree on much...in fact, they rarely agree on anything.” She grinned to herself. Watching them banter was better than Quidditch.
The new professor shook her head. “How do they stand each other?”
Minerva smiled. “They challenge each other, but you must understand, despite their differences, they have one very important thing in common...”
“What’s that, Minerva?”
“They love each other.”
