I agree, this is darn hard to classify. It's lovely though, and poetic. It can stand here, but as you assessed I can't give it points due to it' abstractions.

I usually shy away from poetry--about 99.9999 percent of it in fanfic is eye-bleeding. But since it was you... Gorgeous. Especially love the last two lines.
