He could have told her about the Italian influences, or what year Nice came under French control. He supposed he also could of hypothesized why it was that so many English families had spent their summers here. But as they walked along the Promenade des Anglais, and he felt her small hand slip into his, he forgot everything.
Hermione smiled at him. "Catch me," she said before running onto the beach. His heart pounded as Remus ran after her, adrenaline pumping. Finally capturing her he took his prize: a kiss.
From the walkway an older couple smiled at the newlyweds.
