babies!
so, travis and i had another ultrasound today and things still are looking good! both babies are growing ahead of schedule. baby a is still closer to the bottom but both babies are now breech. we told them they need to flip around again and behave... but we don't need to really worry about any of that for another couple of months. baby a is weighing 1 lb. 6 oz. and baby b is 1 lb. 3 oz. they're both kicking, but now that their feet are down, it's not always pleasant. : ) oh yeah, and they're both still boys.
the doctor is concerned that they haven't been watching my blood sugar close enough (or at all) so they ordered more labs and told me i HAD to do them tomorrow and gave me a blood sugar meter to monitor at home. if any of my numbers are out of whack more than once or twice, i'm ordered to call in and have a glucose tolerance test right away. bleh. the gtt is only an hour long, but it's still three pokes and if i fail that one, then i'll have to do a 3 hour glucose test. they said that i'm at increased risk for gestational diabetes with twins, and then even more because of the fact that EVERYONE in my family is diabetic. and i'm already insulin resistant to boot. *sigh*
burnet was fun, it was nice to see everyone! but i never remember that it's so exhausting to be social with so many people at once! i've been recovering since we got home, and i still feel tired!
