DRUMROLL PLEASE!!!
so, travis and i went to the doctor yesterday (yeah, i should have posted this then but i got distracted) to get our 18 week ultrasound. both babies are healthy and above average size - baby a is 9 oz and baby b is 10 oz - with no visible birth defects. the babies were both head down and facing each other, with their hands up by their faces and their legs crossed over their bottoms. but after a little bit of nudging, we were able to see that we are having........................................
TWO BOYS!!!
it was pretty funny because she put the image up on the big screen and she didn't even have to tell me it was a boy because as she put it, "that's definitely a penis." baby b was a little more modest but he cooperated in the end. travis is super excited to have two little boys to play soccer with but it's been a little harder for me to wrap my head around having a house full of testosterone. oh well! now we're trying to decide on names. : ) my mom's been suggesting mythological twin names like castor and pollux or remus and romulus but i think we'll make our own famous twins! my little sisters suggested zach and cody or dylan and cole because they're obsessed with the disney channel. still, we'll tell everyone when we're ready to share our name decisions... but it may be when the boys are born!
