(no subject)
well there isnt anything truly eventful going on in my life these days... just working, school, and sleeping... something to that effect anyway
its 3am est, and i am on my break. i figured i would sit and write some in this here blog..
well i didnt get the job i had applied for.. didnt even get an interview. oh well. i guess i wasnt meant to have that job. its probably better off anyway for right now... although i am really starting to get tired of my job. its not so much the shift that i am tired of although it is starting to get a little old.. its more of the actual job. engineering is all right, but its not what i like to do. some people would be in the glory, but not me... i mean i do my job well so its no because i suck.. its just not me... not really sure if i know whats me, but i think its not in this field... you maybe asking yourself why i have this job if i didnt think i would like it... well what happened was i was a team leader in a building that is no longer. it shut down.. so they relocated me, and said we have an engineering job for you. so i said sure why not...
so thats life with work.. i am going to stick it out as long as possible on this shift. .the money is good, and my boss likes me.. so that will probably mean more money each year.. which is always welcome...
jen and i are all moved into our new place. however we still have boxes of stuff everywhere. we also have to find places for everything. we have a kitchen table now.. which is cool... it looks like we have a real place..i never had a kitchen table before.. one that i can call my own anyway... our next thing.. is a bed and bedroom set.. which should be here in a couple of weeks... all and all a good move...
i cant wait until thanksgiving... it has to be my favorite holiday.. this year we will be visiting jen's dad... taking a break from or annual trip to Va to see my family.
well i bought the new beastie boys cd.. sold gold. its a greatest hits and it comes with a dvd that plays the videos.. i havent watched it yet.. but its a great cd.. i love the beasties... they are also coming out with a dvd.. i think its called "awesome: i fucking filmed that" or something along those lines... i have to pick that up.. it was filmed at the concert i went to at MSG last year i think?
