The SFC switches on, revealing Yuna cradling it in her palms similarly to the way one would hold something fragile. She's pensive, but if anyone saw her when she first arrived, she's considerably healthier. Hanging up behind her and a little out of view is her wedding dress, which is in tatters

A world without sin?

Oh! I keep forgetting that it really doesn't exist everywhere else either, does it?

Sin. It's the undying monster of my world, born from the sins of the past. It dies... and after a few years, it is reborn anew. The crusaders fight to protect the people of Spira. But only summoners can momentarily defeat it.

[bringslife]

There were things like that in my old world. Every time we thought we defeated them, they showed up again, no matter how impossible it had to be. Other worlds prob'ly have their own sort of thing like that.

[grandsummon]

I only hope not, but I suppose you're right. I'm just sorry to hear that your world was the same.

Could you tell me a little more about your world? I'd like to know, if it's okay?

Nah, it's totally fine. 'S a bit complicated, though, before I showed up here I was trapped in a world that's not mine, and it's pretty different than my original one. My world was a bit boring, yeah, but then I met the Doctor, and he took me to all sorts of places-- different planets and times, and it was incredible. He was a bit-- jeopardy-friendly, though, we kept gettin' attacked by aliens and such, but it was definitely worth it. What about you, what's yours like?

[grandsummon]

Your Doctor sounds amazing. And you! You've been to different worlds before as well. Did he bring you to Vatheon too? [Different worlds conjures another question in her head.] It might be impossible, but have you seen a place called Zanarkand?

Where I come from, in Spira, there's a religion called Yevon. It helps us atone for the sins that occurred during the Machina- machine- War a thousand years ago and to fight against Sin, the monster from before. Not everyone practices, but it's okay. As a summoner, I want to save all the peoples of Spira, Yevonites or not.

...However, I'm afraid Yevon might be corrupted. I-I don't really know though. But the Guado worry me.

He is amazing. [small smile] I dunno about myself, I only got to go because he brought me. He showed me a better way of livin' my life. 'S all him. You sound pretty great, too, caring about everyone and not just a few.

The Doctor never took me here before, though. Nor Zanarkand, I've never heard of it, sorry... what is it? And-- Guado?

[grandsummon]

Thank you. But I'm only strong as long as Spira's hope is alive.

Ah, sorry. The Guado are a people, a race. Recently, they converted to Yevon, due to their leader - Lord Seymour. [Yuna's lips purse together as she utters that name, but that's not all; her right hand balls into a fist at her side until her whole arm shakes.] But some of the things they, and others in the clergy have done... it's just not right.

I suppose I envy you a little, though. You must have seen such wonderful things. You and your Doctor... it must be nice. Is he here, in Vatheon, too?

[bringslife]

Hey... are you all right? [her eyebrows lower a little] What's this Seymour guy done?

[she pauses, then adds]

Hope doesn't die. It's what keeps people going, even when it seems pointless. It's always there, even just a little bit.

The Doctor and I, we got separated in a big battle and weren't ever supposed to see each other again, but yeah-- [smile grows] He's here, too. Even though it shouldn't happened. D'you have anyone you know here?

[grandsummon]

[Yuna's caught off-guard by her question and immediately tenses.] It's complicated. [And maybe even unbelievable. There are still parts of the story she doesn't know yet.] But the things that he's done... He has to be stopped before he hurts anyone else.

[She takes a deep breath, as if trying to shake off the bad feelings and gives her new friend a smile.]

Yes, my cousin and my guardian are here. [Sort of. Not quite. But it's enough to say she's not alone.] And for you and your Doctor to find each other again... it's against the odds, isn't it? I'm glad that Vatheon brought you together again.

[bringslife]

I'm sure it'll work out all right. [smile back] I'm glad, too. And I'm glad you're not alone, either. I'm Rose, by the way, who're you?

[grandsummon]

Rose... what a beautiful name!

[She kindly bows a little toward the screen]
