So the sunrise on Sunday was pleasant. Stayed up all night to see it. I really have to stop doing that. I'm going to destroy my pineal gland at this rate. Didn't even stay up with other people, I just couldn't sleep for some reason (although a good deal of people from the hall were up until 4, maybe 5, because they were doing the Triathlon). All things considered, though, 5 AM is a good time to do laundry, and a cheese hoagie from Wawa's makes a good breakfast. Then I napped at around 9 AM. Yay.
At about 11 PM, a bunch of folks from the hall ordered pizza from Dominoes (one medium for each of us; mine was pineapple) and I played "Lengend Of Zelda: Four Swords" with Chad, John, and Jeremy, all of us being geeks of some degree. My hall is such a good niche for me. It was amazing to see how the teamwork in Four Swords started out rather strong and then rapidly degraded into a constant duel between myself and John, with Jeremy occasionally swooping in to steal force gems and fight with John. Ah, good times. We also made far too much noise considering we finished at about 1 AM. I'm certain the people in the room below us hate us by now, especially considering the "thumps" I always forget to suppress as I get out of my bed (loft bed).
Anyways, I slept in today and skipped physics and fencing because I was feeling under the weather (I feel much better now). I suppose the only substantial thing I did today was seeing Kung-Fu Hustle at around 9 PM, which was infinitely amusing. Sci-fi club was the host of Kung-Fu Hustle, for some reason, and they're showing the Firefly pilot next week, in part because Serenity comes out soon. Ah Firefly, good times, good show. I heartily recommend that series to anyone who hasn't seen it, as it's brilliant sci-fi. I'm probably going to get my parents to send me the series so that I can show it to people in the hall who haven't seen it I also need to remember to force Jeremy to watch FLCL. Ah, so many good things to watch.
Okay, time to snap out of my geek mode. Perhaps I owe a brief explanation for the Triathlon, mentioned above. I have little interest in doing this thing myself, but the Triathlon is a W&M tradition (everything is a tradition, and this one was supposedly started in 1693) in which the participants do three different tasks at some point: jumping the wall of the Governor's Mansion in Williamsburg (illegal), swimming in the Crim Dell (silly), and streaking across the Sunken Garden (illegal and silly). Generally, I find the whole thing rather amusing, but I generally take issue with rites of passage like this (although it's really not a big deal, I suppose). Meh.
Anyways, I post all of this largely because I'm procrastinating. I've gotta finish up my history reading, which involves the dubious task of starting. Goodnight everybody.
