"And oh, Love. I've always known you."

Two entries in a day? Not quite. It's in the AM.

Work was good today. We set up both the PSP Interactive and the Wii Display. I'm pretty excited. The Wii display is probably one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I'm flipping serious.

Returned my Core bundle today and bought the Primo, with some help from me madre`. See, there was this rumor that the Core was supposed to go one twenty nine ninety nine during the two-day ad for Black Friday. I wasn't allowed to tell you that, but it's not happening now. So needless to say, getting an adjustment on the core I'd already purchased was rendered impossible. So I returned it, borrowing a hundred dollars from mom, bought a primo, gave mom the fifty dollar gift card that comes with it this week, and she's counting the other fifty towards my christmas shopping. Do I feel lame a selfish? Yes. Do I feel like a child for not being responsible and just saving the money myself? Yes. Do I have a 360? Yes. Do the ends justify the means? I've yet to decide. I probably never will.

And oh, Love. You're waiting for this life - I this what you needed?

Hung out with the PS3 campers tonight. That was pretty cool. Alex is back in town, which is even cooler. he and Bryan showed up at my house at about ten thirty, and we took a merry romp to Wallyworld for no particular reason. well, they had stuff to buy. I just hung out and bought Dad something. It was nice. After that we went and saw the campers. Bryan and Alex were in the front, so when we pulled up they all huddled around the car like they were ready to negotiate. Which they were. Then I jumped out of the back and was like, "hey guys." And they recognized me, because, you know, they've been at the store for the past three days. So we talked for a bit and then hit they road. They're pretty cool, actually. Not creepy game geeks. They're actually going to sell the things. Which I had planned to do, but, you know. Six units. Eight campers. No thank you.

I bought GRAW and Chrome Hounds for my 360. Chrome Hounds is fun, but unremarkable. Haven't played GRAW yet. I have my doubts. Not that it'll be fun, because I've heard good things, but I recently got rid of all my games that involve killing people. Emily has this belief that violent video games are, in large, pretending to kill people. Which, regardless of what you believe about video games, or how you feel about Jack Thompson, is a fact. And the Bible definitely says, Thou Shalt Not Kill. And even taking into account the argument that the original translation meant, "murder" one cannot deny that to kill is still not an act of love(save for extreme cases. Terri Schiavo anyone? Yeah, I went there. Lord rest her soul.) And yes, war is not the same thing as murder. But I believe it's in Timothy where it says, "And you shall not learn war anymore." In any case, I'll try it, see what convictions I feel, and then possibly return it.

I've realized that I sound like a bible thumper. I'd like to establish the fact that I pride myself on hating religion. But the people who read this blasted thing ought to know that already. I hope. If not, then I've got some serious assessment to do of, you know, life.

Now if you'll excuse me. I new toy is longing to be played with.
