Why hello there.

Hello everyone!
If you care, I am on vacation from work. It is very nice. My vacation extends from the 2nd to 9th. Sweet!

I left for Mercer (up north) on Wednesday the 2nd after school. But before I left, I had to do my final for my math class. I found out today I got an A-!! FUCK YEAH!

As I was saying, I left right after my exam on Wednesday. It was a 5 hour trip. But it was very nice. It was only me in the car and I got to play all of my music without being retiquiled by a passenger. Twas very nice. I hit some pretty bad weather and had to pull over on the freeway near Madison due to the fact that I couldn't see a few feet in front of me. I stayed at the side of the road for at least 20 minutes before the storm went through. My next stop was the Taco Bell in Steven's Point. Ate and drove off again all the way to Mercer. I got at my Aunt's summer home at around 10pm. What a drive. But it made me happy because I love driving and listening to my music by myself as I drive. I beat my cousin Adam at pool and went to bed. Day one of my vacation was over.

I awoke my first full day there to my cousin talking to himself in his sleep. It was kind of interesting listening to the full conversation he was having with himself. I wonder if I talk in my sleep, I've haven't much experience sleeping in the same room with anyone so I don't know. After a small breakfast, my dad, Adam and me went fishing for awhile. I caught 1 fish and my dad 3. Adam caught nothing. We got back to the house and everyone was ready for some ATVing. We packed the trailer and headed off to a trail in Mercer. It was a lot of fun speeding through those trails our tax dollars pay for. There is nothing like going 40 down a dirt road surrounded my miles of forest. It had rained the day before, so it was pretty wet out there. There were plenty of puddles out there. I hit one at 30 and hydroplaned and almost drove into the forest. But I kept control, yet I got the belt wet so we had to wait for it to dry off. After hitting a few bars along the trail, we went back. The rest of the day was spent eating and playing video games. A good first day of being up there I must say.

Friday morning the guys got up early to go fishing on the Flambeau Flowage. The gals went shopping in Minocqua. We didn't catch a damn thing so we went back to the house. After a chip and dip lunch, we started on some of the yard work. We started staining the stairs down to the lake. The wood was so dry that two coats were needed to cover the wood. When Becky and my cousin Caitlyn got home, they helped too. We only did the railings, but that was the hardest and most tedious work. It took us 3 hours. We didn't even finish because we ran out of paint. With that done, dad, Adam, Becky and I went fishing. I caught a few along with my dad. Becky wanted to catch one, so I let her bring in one that I hooked. She caught 2 during the whole trip. But one was mine. So if you hear her brag about her two fish, she only deserved one! That night we sat in the hut tub. It was really nice. I was all alone and could relax in the hot tub. But then everyone else came in. The girls were singing and Adam was splashing around. Very annoying.

Saturday was our lazy day. We only played video games and watch TV. Robot Chicken was watched greatly. It was an icky day, so we had nothing to do. During the evening, we watch Madagascar and I packed so I could get an early start.

Sunday was the day of leaving. I put all my stuff in my car and actually got out of there at 7:45ish. With another pit stop at Steven's Point and the blasting of music (especially Keane this time) I got home at around 12. Good Time for a 5 hour trip I must say.

All and all, I think it was a very relaxing vacation. The many hours of driving alone really helped me relax. I always enjoy it up there. The landscape is so beautiful. All the animals around make it peaceful. I love Northern Wisconsin.

As for the rest of my vacation, I am having a little Mario Kart party starting at around 4:30. You are welcome to come if you want too. As for Wednesday, I have nothing. If you want to do something, let me now. I would love to do something with you.

Tonight was fun. Finch, Sam and Pat came over. We played Super Smash bros. and watched some Robot Chicken.
Nighty night Livejournal,
Ryan
