Java Saga
Java is on the mend!
No diarrhea, no vomiting.
He is eating, keeping his meds down and behaving more and more like his old self.
He wags his tail. He barks at strange sounds. He is more alert and more interested in the world around him. The general malaise is gone.
I want to thank all my and Java friends who expressed their concern and support.
I will take him back for blood work on Tuesday. The vet was concerned because his platelet count was dangerously low and she feared an auto-immune condition that could be life threatening. His behavior now says that this condition must be improving. Just gentle nursing and time will probably put him back on track.
