I prefer small intimate conversations with people I know. My friend Mariah finds this unacceptable and is set on breaking me of this and turning me into a social butterfly. You can't turn introverts into extroverts, or vice versa... they can learn to emulate the opposite, but they still get completely drained by doing so.

You are probably right. However, I think if I had good experiences with girls I might be more comfortable around them. Part of it is that they've always treated me badly.
