Pin-Up review

So last weekend I felt like crap but I figured if I went out I could take my mind off my churning stomach and just forget I was sick. It pretty much worked.

My friends had invited me to Saleems which is a Lebanese restaurant. I had some awesome chickpea spread and pita bread and some weird salad with falafel(sp?). It was very tasty and there was even a belly dancer that night.

Afterwards we walked over to Pin-Up Bow and waited for Mariah. She actually drove back to her house to get shoes because she's insistent on not using "gross-other-people-shoes". While we were waiting I took Rachel's cowboy hat and put it on and everyone was like, "whoa you look totally bad ass and dark and sinister in that". Yeahhhh, bitch. Rachel is kind of country and conservative and the opposite of the rest of the group. I don't know why Mariah is friends with her, but I'm cool with her. She is nice to me even though our views are somewhat different.

Pin-Up is pretty cool for a bowling alley. It's got a small martini bar, a pool table, 8 bowling lanes, and projection screens above each lane that show anything from music videos to sports to whatever. Pop/Rock music plays loudly overhead rather than the general silence you hear in most bowling alleys. I recommend visiting it if you get the chance. Be sure to book in advance though or else you'll end up waiting for an hour to get a lane.
