just thought i'd do my weekly update, although as per usual there isn't much to report. went bowling last sunday with sam, rach, david, ben and timo and sicovered that i seem to bowl better without my glasses on! it was a fun evening followed my a yummy piza hut tea. met up with everyone agin on tuesday for the pub quiz - apparently we did quite poorly this time with only 16 / 36 but the questions were pretty difficult this particualr quiz. also met anisha before hand for a catch up and some food which was nice.
met up with matt, sarah and david for lunch on wednesday which was cool. it was pretty much like we'd never really been away really, we sat by the fountain in the sun although i was a tad self conscious - being the only one eating.
the rest of the week was routine work stuff and friday night from 8pm was spent on the sofa in front of the TV watching mainly big bro - and i know its naff but its also good chill out tv.
Today i decided i needed to go shopping for some stuff for prague, so went over to nuneaton and bought two new skirts and some underwear (as my old ones are wearing a bit thin now)then once back in Hinckley i also got some new flat work shoes. they are uber comfy - like wearing slippers, cos my old ones i discovered had a hole in when i had to walk to work in the rain -tut! - i have had them nearly two yrs though. Also whist in town i had a contact lens assement thing, which went ok - not sure if i like wering lenses or not yet though because 1) my right eye is very unco-operative and will not open as wide as my right making the whole precdure a pain in the ass. and 2) they dry my eyes out quite a bit - although the optician did say that using eye drops when not wearing lenses should help with that. then Laura came round this eve and we ate pizza and watched the amusing audiditons on X factor and had a good old catch up.
so yeah thats a bout it for my week. have a ton of things to be doing tomorrow, dishwahser to unload, washing to do, packing to do, trip to ASDA for food and sunday dinner to cook! i also accidently bought 7 ( i bought two that looked ok then eneded up buying the 5 book collection that starts with "interview with a vampire") books today for holiday which i doubt i iwll get through ( they wrre all reaosnably priced htough from charity shops) and i'm still re-reading HP and the half blood prince argh, so much to do , so little time. ciao for now. xx
