wow, I really never write in this thing, and when I do it's about the Diary of Anne Frank. My life is truly sad.
Anyway went and saw Attactics, 80 Proof, and some other band whose name I feel bad for not remembering last night at the art space in Glouscester. It was by far the best venue I've ever been at. As I could have gathered, there was art all over the place, but it wasnt just boring paintings and stuff. There were all these neat photos and sculptures of brains and chinese dragons floating from the ceilings AND A GIANT PAPER MACHE WEARABLE CHICKEN SUIT and the best painting ever by a middle school that looked a whole lot like salad fingers. And that was a really really bad run on sentance and I dont even care because art space was just that cool. Attactics and 80 Proof were the only bands I actually paid attention to, and were both really good. I guess it was the Attactics first official show as a new band and they sounded great. 80 Proof has the best drummer I've ever heard in a local band. The band after the band after 80 proof was a hilarious. Not so much because their music was awful, but because the lead singer was a girlpants wearing scenester that had obviously been tanning. you know, IN TANNING BEDS. and he did a microphone spin. Yeah, it was that bad.
Local shows are pretty much the best thing ever, where else can you see two really good bands and then one that is just hilariously bad? That's right, nowhere.
and not that anyone reads this besides shawn and jillian BUT BMT RADIOATHON IS THIS WEEKEND SO LISTEN BMT 88.3 FM and call in with requests, and junk. or just IM the sn, its WBMT883FM. yup.
