Megan was swaying and not at all looking like her cheerful self, and this worried Amamama a great deal. How could it be that her honorary twin behaved like this? Yes, please to tea to wash the evil taste of chocolate out of her mouth? This was so contrary to how Megan normally behaved, that she wasn't sure an Imperius was the only problem. Megan loves chocolate and coffee, that's a well known fact. So why? While Bill did his curse-breaking and -detecting spells, she sank into a meditative mindset and started breathing love. She took the love she had for Megan, concentrated it in her heart, nurtured it and made it grow, and then visualised sending it back to her 'twin' as a thick, fat beam of golden light. Oh dear! I must have read too much into Moonette's comment that she'd think about it. We are once more without resolution of the terrible dilemma we find our selves in at these obviously cursed birthday parties.

Fortunately, Amamama and Bill were still following clues. Whoever had done this to Megan intended to have some harm come to Moonette without being physically present. So all we need to do is figure out who is not here. As Sherlock Holmes once said, 'Why did the dog not bark?'

It must be someone who is familiar with our usual natal day festivities, as well as at home at Hogwarts, Northern Scotland, and London. An ability to communicate with the Spartans in Ancient Greek would be an asset. Familiarity with Cream Teas and Tea Dances is needed. But most of all, someone invited, but who begged off because of previous plans.
