Kate hated to ask Albus to cast another of the spells that made time run more slowly, but there was nothing else that she could think of to do to stall until Moonette and Will arrived. Molly said that even the ears of witches and wizards could stand only so much of that caterwauling blond man who fancied himself a singer.

It was nice to see what a good time people seemed to be having. Even St Margarets looked content. Maybe the Margarets' Hope Darjeeling was soothing her nerves. Nic sat down in the empty chair that she'd saved for him, and congratulated her on a successful party, He pointed out that this one had only lasted three days instead of the record breaking three weeks that one of the parties in Italy had. Dom, Sara, and Oliver had left for home. Dom said that Dora might stop by his place and didn't want to miss her.

Kate smiled as she drank a bit of the special tea they'd ordered for St Margarets. The amount of chocolate syrup leaking out of the big chocolate cake that the 300 had pierced worried her a bit. She wished that Moonette wold come soon.
