Moonette's Birthday Magical Mystery Tour Bus Tour I

Jun 19, 2009 09:39

Ginny Potter stepped away from the Floo Connection and wondered why she had agreed to drive a group of tourists anywhere they wanted to go on the Magical Mystery Tour Bus. She was only doing it as a favor for her mum's friend, grandma_kate. It wasn't that Grandma Kate wasn't a nice old lady, but Ginny was beginning to have doubts about the rest of the ( Read more... )

“Is she ready?”

“Yes, of course she is,” Draco drawled, speaking to Lady Whizbee through her magical mirror.

“Where is she-may I see her?”

“Oh, all right.” Draco called over his shoulder, and in a moment an exact copy of Lady Whizbee appeared. One that was clearly not pregnant, though, and perfectly capable of attending a party until all hours of the night with no ill effect.

However, on closer inspection, she seemed to be much voluptuously endowed than the real Lady Whizbee. Her hair was longer, blonder too, with a bit more wave and her eyes larger and distinctly robin-egg blue. And as the real Lady Whizbee moved closer to the mirror, she noticed that her copy’s legs were quite svelte in her skimpy shorts, her bum more curvaceous, and what was that tattooed on the flat of her upper left hip-bone?

“Draco! I said to make an exact copy-not your, what is that? Your fantasy copy of me?”

“You said to make her AU, so I did.”

“AU does not mean fantasy.”

“Yes, it does, and you know it.”

The real Lady Whizbee bit her lip. “All right, it does. Will she behave like me?”

“Perhaps, although I don’t know for certain-she’s AU. She might be a bit more devious, conniving and, you know, sexy.”

Lady Whizbee narrowed her eyes. “Why is that, exactly?”

“I made her.”

Lady Whizbee sighed. There was nothing for it, after all she did want to attend Moonette’s bus tour, but the thought of sending Lady Whizbee (AU) in the care of Draco Malfoy seemed completely unwise now. What had she been thinking?

“Draco-will you please dress her more appropriately for a bus tour? And what on earth are you wearing? Are those leather pants?”

Draco shrugged. “St. Mag’s suggested it.”

“Well, change-they look horrendous, and I refuse to be seen with you dressed that way.”

He didn’t look pleased, but the real Lady Whizbee couldn’t care less.

“Once you’re ready, Apparate to the Magical Mystery Tour Bus at Kinds Cross.”

“All right. You said that there was going to be Quidditch, right?”

“Yes, and alcohol-and apparently lots of chocolate.”

“What about Chris Dane Owens?”

Lady Whizbee shuddered at the thought. “I don’t believe so, but Viktor Krum will be there-and apparently a whole trunk full of baddies yet to be decided upon.”

“Really?”

Lady Whizbee nodded. “Now go-before you miss the bus.”

Draco turned to leave the mirror, and the real Lady Whizbee called out to him one more time. “And don’t forget to change Lady Whizbee (AU)’s clothes!”

He waved a lazy hand at her over his shoulder, and she bit her lip again. She hoped that nothing untoward happened to Lady Whizbee (AU), but at this point it did seem...well...highly likely. She could only hope that somewhere in her copy was a bit of practical good sense and stiff resolve to stand up for herself, otherwise the real Lady Whizbee would pay for it later in spades.

Chris Dane Owens?”

LOL - I forgot about him. He should be in the compartment with Dave the Sock Puppet and friends. I must have donated him to the Salvation Army misfiled him.

Ginny was trying to keep track of the passengers but they kept popping in and out. Lady Whizbee was on the list and obviously needed to be seated in the Royal Enclosure with the Queen in the turtle neck with the Trunk O'Hunks. Ginny idly wondered what AU meant after Lady Whisbee's name. Maybe Assistant Undersecretary. Queens must need a lot of those.

She frowned when the parchment changed 'and guest' after Lady Whisbee's name to Draco Malfoy. Even thought nothing had been proven in the trials after the Second War, most people didn't associate with any of the Malfoys. She decided that she'd do what Harry always did when their paths crossed, She practiced raising her nose and giving a curt nod. Draco was no where in sight yet, but she couldn't help but overhear the Queen greeting Lady Whisbee effusively. 'So your son was born in time to be a Gemini?.

Ginny didn't hear what Lady Whisbee said as she kissed the Queen's hem but it must have been funny because they both laughed.
