The first half seems to be up as far as Molly and Arthur in bed, as usual. I almost did this as two chapters because it is a lot longer than what I usually write, so maybe that is something else I need advice about. Fingers crossed on formating.

Hmmmm I wonder what Molly will do to help the muggle-borns. And Charlie and Kathleen are living together now? did I miss something in the last chapter?

Actually Molly is living in a dream world about Ginny becoming a Healer but that is what she hopes for her now.
Kathleen went to visit Charlie to do research for the book that her publisher wants her to write about vampires back in June. They live in a cabin at the dragon research facility. Wait until you read what Molly is sending them for Christmas.

I don't write drabbles because I always write in more detail than most people want to read.

Yay for blue-eyed baby boys. I really like how you described George in this chapter - that's grief - okay one day - knee-capping pain the next. Poor Molly.
I also like the displaced person angle - lots of possible adventures that way.

I am finding it harder then I thought it would be to keep all the threads of the plot active. Unlike JKR, I am worry quite a bit about keeping the temporal aspect consistent. My plot is projected by dates (which is fairly easy to change). I can't imagine being able to keep all the balls in the air without a calendar.
I did list all the possible characters with names and locations and haven't had to add too many. So far Apple Glorioso, a talk show hostess, is my favorite displaced person. She is a Black cousin who insists on staying in character when she is playing Bellatrix.

I am writing the rough draft of April 1999 now, but plan to end the story when Ginny leaves Hogwarts in June 1999.
The September 1998 chapter should be up at Phoenix Song this weekend.
