I am feeling better now that all the testing is over and I am back down to one Vicoden at bedtime. Dear Oatmeal is trying to take care of me but I need to do what I can as long as my condition stays about the same. I know what the month of February will be like because dear Oatmeal was unable to do much of anything the whole month of October. Getting to walk to the bathroom a few times a day isn't much to look forward to. He is making good progress now but hates any form of food preparation. I think he could manage microwaving instant oatmeal so may have breakfast solved.
My total shoulder replacement is February 1 if the rest of the tests indicate that I would be a good candidate for surgery. It would be a shoulder block rather then total anesthesia so my being 82 with a sticky heart valve shouldn't be a factor.
All prayers and good thoughts gladly received and will be reciprocated. I'll keep you up to date.
