For the two people in the universe who were worried concerned: I made the ninety-minute drive across town and back (hey, it was afternoon rush…) and, in the interest of supporting local businesses, I now have an actual disc, in an actual cardboard CD case, with actual printed liner notes, in my hot little major ninth-spanning hands.
Also note: it was released this Tuesday. I have never bought anything within forty-eight hours of first availability. Ever. Not even Prince.
Still in the middle of first listening cycle.
